The Khans of Bollywood Lost Top 3 Spots of The Box-Office Ladder to These Actors

2018 was the worst nightmare for all the three Khans of Bollywood. While Salman Khan’s Race 3 came out to be the biggest trolled film of 2018, which collected INR 166.40 crore in its lifetime; Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan was not able to gross more than INR 151.19 crore and was announced to be a box-office holocaust whereas, The king of the Bollywood also failed to impress the audience with Zero, which is claimed the worst of the three. The film Zero collected INR 88.85 crore by now, and the film is struggling to cross even to enter the 100 crore club.

Aamir Khan Shah Rukh Khan Krishna Mahabharata

And what’s the most shocking part is that all three khans tossed their coins on the remunerative holidays of Eid, Diwali, and Christmas but suffered from huge failures. As the matter of the fact, this has happened for the first time in over 12 years that none of the Khan has qualified to be in the top three spots of the box-office scorecard. Whereas, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju is the top grossed movie of the year 2018 and collected over INR 342.53 crore at the box-office, which is followed by Ranveer Singh starrer Padmavat and Simmba collecting INR 302.15 core and INR 173.15 crore and counting respectively and grabbed the second and third position after Sanju.

This year turned out to be a tragic one for the Khans and it’s like history is repeating itself, as back in 2006, when Hrithik Roshan’s Dhoom:2, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi’s Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish snatched the top three positions from the Khans and all three collected INR 81 crore, INR 75 crore and INR 72 crore respectively. In between 2006 and 2018, at minimum one of the Khans has been among the top three positions of the scorecard; and here is a short recap:
