Katrina Kaif vs Deepika Padukone! Who wore the Gauri & Nainika Dress Better?

Deepika Padukone Katrina Kaif

Whenever we hear Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone’s names in one sentence, our minds automatically strike to Ranbir Kapoor. But this isn’t about him. Apart from him, they have one more thing in common and that is their designer. Recently, both wore Gauri and Nainika dresses which were quite similar.

Where Deepika chose to don the V-neck flowery flowy dress with her standard huge bow of the same cloth 10 days ago, Katrina wore a one off-shoulder straight cut dress which was tight from the waist and flowy from there onwards, with a bow. On one hand, Deepika had the bow on the waist, and on the other hand, Katrina’s dress had the bow on her shoulder. Here, have a look at the two Bollywood leading ladies looking beautiful in these similar Gauri and Nainika dresses.

Both the stars were known to share cold vibes earlier, because of Ranbir being their exes, but not only do they share a cordial relationship with the man himself, but also with each other. Katrina surprised everyone by her appearance at the Deepika Ranveer reception in Mumbai last year. Katrina was invited by Ranveer Singh and she chose to attend the event. DP and Kat shared a warm hug there and are also seen hugging each other later at an Awards show too.

On the work front, Katrina Kaif is currently busy promoting for her upcoming big release Bharat on June 5, starring Salman Khan, Sunil Grover, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi, and Disha Patani. The movie is based on a Korean drama ‘Ode to My Father’, the rights of which were brought by Atul Agnihotri, Salman’s brother in law. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who earlier collaborated with Kaif in Tiger Zinda Hai. The movie was a massive box office hit, and this one too looks extremely interesting and a blockbuster.

Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s directorial Chhapaak. Meghna Gulzar, the director of super successful movies, both commercially and critically, Raazi and Talwar will be coming up with this another real-life story of Laxmi who was attacked with acid at the age of 15 but her unconquerable human spirit made her win at life, for she now runs an NGO Chhanv Foundation which ensures a better lifestyle to all the acid attack survivors. Deepika Padukone herself runs an NGO Live Love Laugh Foundation, founded in 2015, for creating mental health awareness after battling depression herself.

The first look seems promising and makes us believe that Deepika fits just right for the role. Chhapaak is jointly bankrolled by Fox Star Studios, Deepika Padukone’s KA Entertainment, and Meghna Gulzar’s Mriga Films and will hit the theaters on 10th January 2020.
