Last Sunday, Kat had something new and interesting for her fans and i.e. the trailer launch date of her upcoming flick ‘Bharat’. She stopped not at this but also posted an awesome pic of hers from its set. The photo is supposedly a still from Bharat’s trailer and shows her in a pretty avatar.
In the photo, she is dressed in a green saree with a simple gold chain around her neck, black bindi on her forehead and a minimal makeup along with her forever curly hair. Kat looks awesome i.e. beyond pretty in what appears to be a still from the film. The movie has Salman Khan playing the male lead for Kat.
Kat shared the pic on her Instagram account and captioned it, “#Bharat 10 days to trailer”. In the process, she revealed the release date of the much-awaited trailer as the movie is highly anticipated to be an Eid eve launch. As soon as she posted the trailer launch date, her post started receiving comments like, “Can’t wait” and “Super excited”.

Bharat is co-produced by Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and his own production house: Salman Khan Films. It is an adaptation of the Korean war drama titled ‘An Ode To My Father’. The movie’s star cast includes Sunil Grover, Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Aasif Sheikh apart from Salman and Katrina Kaif in the male and female leads respectively.
Meanwhile, here’s an insight into Bharat’s story: It is the story of a man and nation going alongside. When India gets its Independence from Britishers, amidst partition a family makes a cross-country journey. But this journey comes at a cost for this family. An 8-year-old boy who is also one of the family members makes a promise to his father that at any cost, he will keep the family as it is. And he keeps his promise for coming 60 years of his life. In these 60 years, each and every decade poses a new challenge for him, some of them are humorous, some are thrilling and some romantic while some are life-threatening. But his resilience, loyalty and a never dying spirit keeps him going similar to our nation i.e. India that has kept its pace with changing times in the years that have passed by since independence.
