Yesterday Kangana Ranaut was trending on twitter after she spat with the BMC officials. She posted a video of her on social media stating how BMC and Uddhav Thackeray Government wrongly stated that her office was illegally constructed and following they even demolished the allegedly illegal constructed part of her office. Thousands of people shared her video, and in no time this became the talk of the town. Amid all the fuss, some people on social media remembered the times when BMC demolished allegedly illegal structures of Shah Rukh Khan and Kapil Sharma.
In 2016, Kapil Sharma angrily tweeted to the government of Maharashtra that even after paying a hefty amount of Income-tax, BMC officials are asking for a bribe. He wrote in a tweet, “I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 years n still I have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office to make my office.”
He even tagged Narendra Modi in that tweet. After reading that, Devendra Fadnavis who was the CM of Maharashtra promised the comedian to take strict action against corrupt officials who demanded a bribe from him.
Fadnavis replied to his tweet, “Have directed MC (municipal commissioner), BMC, to take the strictest action. We will not spare the culprit.” Manohar Pawar, the chief engineer of the BMC wrote a letter to the Comedian. The letter read, “The BMC has taken note of your complaint and we assure you that we will thoroughly investigate the matter and take serious action against the concerned. To enable us to take this action, you are requested to share the name of the concerned who have demanded the bribe.”
This is how people on social media reacted on seeing Kapil Shamra’s name trending below Kangana Ranaut.
