Janhvi Kapoor Feel Sridevi Around:
‘I can still smell my mother in her dressing room’. These were Janhvi Kapoor’s words that she used while writing a note on things that she learned in self-isolation. Janhvi is Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter.
It has been almost a week since the 3-week lockdown was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and post that most of the nation is staying at home to be safe from the coronavirus outbreak.
Like most Bollywood citizens: Janhvi Kapoor is locked inside her home until the 14th of April. Bollywood newbie: Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram page and posted a note through which she communicated to her fanbase, things that she learned during self-isolation. She began her writing by talking about valuing the food that she eats.
These were Janhvi’s words,
“I’ve learnt to value the food that I eat. It’s a blessing to have things in excess and abundance the way that I do. But not knowing if our house ration will last long enough till lockdown ends, knowing someone’s risking their health every time they go to buy groceries makes me worry in a way I’ve never had to before. Still, I have it better than most in these conditions, and I’ve had it better than most do in life… I’ve learnt I have been selfish and irresponsible.”
The Dhadak actor also shared about how she can still feel her mother Sridevi’s presence at home. Janhvi wrote,
“I’ve learnt that there are many hours in the day. I’ve learnt that I can still smell my mother in her dressing room. I’ve learnt that I’m a better painter in my head than in real life. I’ve learnt that Khushi is the cooler sister.”
Janhvi captioned her post with the words,
“Also learnt that I like to write… p.s. wrote this 3 days ago since we started self-isolating a little before the lockdown and it had already been a week for me by then.”
