Janhvi Kapoor Dances on Aishwarya Rai’s Umrao Jaan:

Late Bollywood Actress: Sridevi who hailed from South India was a trained dancer and it seems that her genes have started their job in her daughter.

Janhvi Kapoor who like most of Bollywood is locked inside her home, took to her Instagram page and shared a video from her dance rehearsals. Janhvi is a trained dancer and an incredible one indeed. The actor who is the daughter of Sridevi and Producer: Boney Kapoor has followed the footsteps of her mother when it comes to dancing.

Although not much in her debut film Dhadak, Janhvi has shown her dancing skills at award shows in the past and also on her Instagram page. Whether it is belly dancing or Kathak, the young actor has done it all and aced them all with perfection.

Sometime back, Janhvi took to her Instagram page and shared a throwback video from her Kathak dance rehearsals. In this video that we are talking about, she could be seen dancing to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s song ‘Salaam’ from the film Umrao Jaan that made its box office debut in 2006. Janhvi moves gracefully and her expressions make for a perfect routine of the track. She looks beautiful in a pink printed Anarkali suit clubbed with her hair tied in a high ponytail.

Janhvi captioned the video with the words,

“#missing the classroom. But anywhere and everywhere can be a classroom no?”

Talking about work, Janhvi was last seen in Netflix’s original film Ghost Stories in which she starred in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial. Her upcoming movie is Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl in which she plays the titular role of the first female and Indian woman airforce pilot in combat. The film is helmed by Sharan Sharma and co-produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. Gunjan Saxena also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles. It was slated to release on April 24, 2020, which is very much to be delayed indefinitely as lockdown has been extended till May 3rd.
