But the actress for some reasons that are still unknown was not a part of the sequel of the film that released back in 2011, titled Don 2. Isha, now, in a recently given interview, criticized the film’s sequel and said,

“I don’t even know I was expecting (to be a part of the sequel) but I don’t know what happened. They changed the entire…you know…it didn’t do very well in any case.”

For the uninformed, the first flick made a little over Rs 106 crore globally, while the sequel made more than Rs 200 crore worldwide. Both movies were helmed by Farhan Akhtar.

When Isha was further questioned if she would be a part of Don 3, she said,

“Ya, ya let me go check with him tell him (Farhan) you know what my fans want me in Don 3, so you better have me in.”

Don 3 has long been discussed and talks got a boost once again after the failure of Shah Rukh’s last film, Zero. But according to an Asian Age report a source close to the filmmakers was quoted as saying,

“Farhan Akhtar has no script, not even an idea for a plot to do another film. He’s busy with his acting and music career. He hasn’t directed any film for the last nine years. His last directorial was Don 2 in 2011. It looks like the Don series is dead.”

Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan went on an unofficial sabbatical post Zero’s failure. He is still recovering. Not only Shahrukh Khan, movies of other 2 Bollywood Khans: Salman and Aamir Khan too received flak at the box office.
