Hrithik Roshan is currently enjoying the success of his latest release, Super 30′ that is having a blockbuster run at the box office. The film has him portraying the role of Patna-based mathematician, Anand Kumar. ‘Super 30′ has already been exempted from tax in eight states in India.
Talking about Hrithik’s past i.e. going back 19 years in 2000, Hrithik made a smashing debut in the film industry with ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’. The flick turned him into an overnight sensation and earned him a huge fan base. Just recently in a F2F with Pinkvilla, when the actor was asked about a remake of this iconic film, here’s what he had to say.
When Hrithik was questioned whether he thinks his debut film could be remade or have a sequel, Hrithik was caught unaware and asked, “Why would anyone want to remake ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’?
When the interviewer refused to let Hrithik escape from answering this question and added some more queries in the question, like whom Hrithik would like to see in the remake. Hrithik gave in and replied,
“I think newcomers should only be cast in the remake as two newcomers were launched with it earlier, in case ever made.”
When it comes to his joy on Super 30’s success, Hrithik couldn’t get hold of his feelings and shared,
“There is a feeling of satisfaction and of immense happiness. It is similar to how I felt when my first film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000) had released. Box-office collections do have some sort of importance, as they indicate that the audiences have accepted your work and connected to it in some way.”
Talking about the future, the superstar will be next seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘War’ where he is pitted against his fan cum actor: Tiger Shroff. And Vaani Kapoor will be playing his love interest in the flick.
