Even in his dreams, Hrithik Roshan was not expecting that his debut movie will be ever discussed for a remake. That’s why he said, “Why would anyone want to remake Kaho Naa Pyaar hai?”  during an interview he gave in the recent past.

Currently enjoying the success of his recent offering Super 30. Super 30 is a biopic, that brings alive on-screen the life of Anand Kumar, a Bihar based mathematician, who runs a programme that prepares financially disadvantaged but deserving students, prepare for IIT-JEE.

Hrithik made his way to our hearts 19 years ago with his debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, that also marked the debut of actress Ameesha Patel.

At this moment when one could see a lot of Bollywood filmmakers going in for remakes or sequels of the flicks that made it big at the box-office. Like Coolie No 1, Pati Patni Aur Woh among others. Hrithik was not the person who had any thoughts about anything similar happening with his Debut Flick: Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.

When Hrithik was unsuccessful in his attempt to escape the question during the interview. He  finally told the entertainment portal that if the film is ever remade, it should cast newcomers. These were his exact words,

“I think newcomers should only be cast in the remake as two newcomers were launched with it earlier, in case ever made.”

Talking about Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, it arrived on silver screen 19 years ago in the year 2000. Helmed by Rakesh Roshan, who was also the writer and producer of the movie. This movie’s songs became quite the rage amongst the youngsters back when the film was released. The music of the film was composed by his uncle: Rajesh Roshan.

Super 30 has already entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club and also got a tax exemption in 8 Indian states. It has already made Rs 138.78 crore at the box office.

Hrithik’s next will be YRF’s WAR along with Tiger Shroff.
