Kareena Kapoor Khan has been quite active on her social media handle ever since she made her debut on Instagram. Her posts are generally flooded with compliments, but there are times when she has to face some nasty comments on her page. She revealed that she was at the receiving end of the wrath of the netizens post actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death.
She was recently interviewed by the Quint where she opened up on being trolled online. She Said Comments Shouldn’t Be Considering ‘Trolling’ and added:
“I just feel that the lockdown and pandemic have caused a lot of chaos in people’s minds and we have a lot of time on our hands. So people are just over-discussing, over-analysing, over-trolling things. Everyone is all over the place. Everyone is sitting at home, lot of people are without jobs. One shouldn’t even look at it as trolling. I guess everybody is just bored and wants to say something.”
She said: ‘If Trolling Makes Someone Happy Then So Be It’
“I think we are also here to spread peace and positivity. The idea is that everyone should just be happy in their space and not get into each others’ hair. If trolling makes someone happy then so be it.”
She also opened up on shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha while being pregnant:
I am always told that I have ants in my pants, but that’s not the case. I just love my job a lot and I like being at work. Had the pandemic not happened, we would have wrapped up Laal Singh Chaddha in April. It just so happened that I got pregnant and this pandemic happened. I had a commitment and I had to fulfil that
She said she has been enjoying working post the lockdown phase and said:
The time I got to spend with Taimur and Saif came as a silver lining, but there’s only so long that you can be at home. You have to get on with work after a while and that’s what I did.
She recently busted some myths about pregnancy and said:
But, the most important thing that I learnt was that regardless of how you alter your diet, you should stick to the basics- the right amount of nutrition through grains and vegetables. Women have a lot of cravings when they are pregnant, but I realised that I must eat for myself as opposed to eating for two.
She further said:
I ensure that I get adequate nutrition from dairy. Ghee is referred to as an ancient super-food, and I swear by it. I add a teaspoon of it in my meals and have a bowl of curd at least once in a day. These are high sources of protein and Vitamin B12, and make the gut stronger, facilitating repair. I also include green leafy vegetables and stay hydrated at all times.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is expecting her 2nd child with Saif Ali Khan after Taimur Ali Khan. She has been all over the internet flaunting her baby bump in style & ‘slaying it’ on the social media.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen next in Aamir Khan’s next, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in the lead role. The movie is the Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film, ‘Forrest Gump’ which starred Tom Hanks in the lead role.
Apart from this, she is also a part of Karan Johar’s period drama, ‘Takht’.
