Priyanka Chopra was not the only one who stood in support for the famers. Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja also showed her support for the farmers. She took to Instagram & shared the pictures of a few farmers protesting.
Alongside the images, Sonam wrote
“When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of human civilization.”
Anand also shared one of the images without a caption.
Diljit Dosanjh was a part of the farmers’ protest at Singhu border. Addressing farmers, Dosanjh said
“I have come here to listen not speak. Thank you to the farmers from Punjab and Haryana. You have created history once again. I want to say to the government – Do not divert from the issues.”
“There is no other discussion going on here apart from that related to farmers. Whatever the farmers want, the government should accept. All are sitting peacefully. There is no talk of bloodshed. Everyone twists [facts] on Twitter.”
