Ever since Saif Ali Khan’s daughter: Sara Ali Khan made her debut with Kedarnath, both their fans have been eager to see them share the screen space.
In a recent media interaction, Saif discussed this topic. Saif has for sure plans to work with Sara someday. But there are some roles that he wouldn’t do with her and revealed that they have already been offered five films together.
Talking to the Times Of India, Saif said that when he and Sara do share screen space someday, they both would be excited about it.
“Depends on the role. In fact, we’ve been offered a few many things because my line of work is quite an opportunist. Yes. People have asked us and we’ve been offered about five films together, which have not been done for one reason or another. The film needs to be appealing to both of us. Yeah. So when we do it, it should be something that both of us are excited about.”
Sometime back, Saif Ali Khan revealed that Alaya F’s role in Jawaani Jaaneman was offered to Sara at first. Saif Ali Khan’s home production: Jawaani Jaaneman made its box office debut yesterday to good reviews.
Sara Ali Khan was offered the role because work on Kedarnath was stalled because of some issues. And to facilitate Sara’s box office debut was a priority job for father: Saif Ali Khan. But as soon as Kedarnath was back on track, Saif persuaded her to not do Jawaani Jaaneman.
Saif Ali Khan gave the reason behind this decision. As per him, since his whole family including his mother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, wife and daughter all are employed in Bollywood, he would prefer not to do any real-life roles with them. Saif is always there for Sara’s help in any possible way, but he thinks that both her trajectory and her path should be different.
Jawaani Jaaneman casts Tabu and debutant Alaya F opposite Saif. The film has been helmed by Nitin Kakkar.
