Ready to roll!

Bollywood as an industry saw many actors become stars and many stars become legends. They made their way into the hearts of the audience. For quite a long time the industry was ruled by the Khans, the Kapoors and many more. But about a few years ago, the younger generation took over when Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and their contemporaries entered the industry with a new wave of revolution. In such a short span of time, they became the audiences’ favourites and big stars. Not only the content served in the films got better but also new energy came along with these multi-talented and ready-to-act actors and actresses.

The industry has been on a continuous influx of new talent since then and the good ones are definitely getting a warm welcome from the audience as well. Let’s have a look at the future Bollywood stars who sure will rule the industry soon.

 1. Vicky Kaushal

Vicky Kaushal can legit pull off any role. He can be a shy and a loving husband, Iqbal Syed in Raazi, he can be a drug addict cop, Raman in Raman Raghav 2.0, he can be a small town, innocent boyfriend, Deepak in Masaan and he can be a quirky Gujrati best friend, Kamli in Sanju. If anything, this man has shown versatility and has surprised everyone with his acting skills to such an extent that it would be no more a surprise if he is the next ruling Bollywood star.

 2. Ishaan Khatter

Ishaan Khatter is Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother who acted as a child artist in ‘Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi’ with him years ago. And now, his looks, perfect body cut and his incredible dancing skills have already taken away the hearts of young teenage girls. His first film ‘Beyond the Clouds’ made the critics praise him and now his second film, Dhadak which is slated to release on the 20th of July will make masses hoot for him. The trailer of the film looks amazing and Ishaan has made sure that he shines throughout with his acting prowess.

 3. Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana: An actor, a singer, a writer, a former RJ. This man has multiple abilities to vouch for. His acting in the debut film ‘Vicky Donor’ made him popular right away. He is the Desi Punjabi Munda from Chandigarh who is extremely talented and has earned each and every fan based on his talent. He had no Godfather when he entered the industry but I am sure hundreds and thousands believe in him today. His choice of scripts differed from others, be it Bareilly ki Barfi or Dum Laga Ke Haisha and maybe that’s why he stands tall, away from the crowd. He sure deserves to be one of the top future Bollywood stars.

 4. Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput yelled Kai Po Che! in celebration out loud with the release of his first film. He had made quite an entry to Bollywood. From the TV sets to the big 70mm screens, he had taken the leap, a long and a risky one but his faith in himself and his talent paid off. He was always loved as a TV star and now he is loved as ‘MS Dhoni’ or as ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’. Sushant Singh Rajput puts in a lot of work in the characters he portrays and will definitely climb the star ladder quickly.

 5. Rajkummar Rao

From the quintessential art film actor to now giving commercial hits like a true Bollywood star, Rajkummar Rao has come a long way. He lives the characters he plays on screen. Both the critics and the masses love his cinema and his acting. Come to think of it, I don’t think he has ever given a bad performance on screen. Even if he is asked to, he won’t be able to act badly, he is that good. Newton, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Trapped, Citylights, Queen, all of them were acclaimed and appreciated because Rajkummar shone like a star.

 6. Diljit Dosanjh

You will agree with me when I say anyone and everyone who has seen Diljit’s work, be it his songs or movies, is Diljit’s fan. That is his persona. The innocence and the truth with which he acts make him a better actor than many existing ones in Bollywood. He is the first Sikh to break through the stereotypical best friend roles and bag the lead roles in Bollywood movies like Udta Punjab and the recently released, Soorma. He is very popular for his beautiful voice and now he is ready to show Bollywood his Punjabi magic.

 7. Radhika Apte

With movies like Padman, Parched, Badlapur, Manjhi in her kitty, Radhika Apte has proved her mettle more than once. She has been around in the industry for quite some time now and it is recently, that her talent is being recognised by many. With her inexplicable performance in the trending Netflix Original web series ‘Sacred Games’, she has made a loud noise with her on-screen presence and her deep understanding of the character. If this is the basis of her foundation in Bollywood as an actor then the upcoming success will be one solid building.

 8. Janhvi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor is just 22 years old and is making headlines even before the release of her first film. She is the daughter of the legendary actor, Late Sridevi Kapoor and the famous film producer, Boney Kapoor. It is pretty much evident in the movie Dhadak’s trailer that acting runs in her blood. She is one of the media’s favourite Bollywood star kids and seems to rejoice the attention. She looks promising as an actor and can definitely be a future Bollywood star.

 9. Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon is an amazing actor. There is so much reality and finesse in her acting that every character she plays on-screen becomes her own. As an audience, she compels you to believe that this is how she is in real life and it’s the biggest achievement for an actor. She is underestimated but Bitti from ‘Bareilly ki Barfi’ or Saira Singh from ‘Raabta’ will sure take off soon and become a Bollywood star.

 10. Mouni Roy

Future Bollywood Stars

TV’s favourite Naagin, Mouni Roy is soon to make a debut in Bollywood with a movie named ‘Gold’ alongside Akshay Kumar in the lead role. She is a fantastic dancer and has impeccable acting skills which she will show to the world on the big screen very soon. But even before her debut, one can easily place his bets on this Bengali beauty because of her previous performances on TV. If the movie does well which it will, it won’t take very long for Mouni Roy to be among the best Bollywood stars.
