‘Drive’ Trailer: Jacqueline Fernandez-Sushant Singh Rajput Are Trying Their Hands On Being Faces Of Karan Johar’s ‘Dhoom’?

It seems that Sushant Singh Rajput & Jacqueline Fernandez have revived the Dhoom franchise for Karan Johar in Drive trailer.

Ever since the time Drive was officially announced, the box office audience had an expectation that Karan Johar would bring in a new concept with Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez as the lead couple. But opposite to their expectations, it appears that Karan Johar along with Dostana helmer Tarun Mansukhani, has only revived Dhoom.

YRF’s successful franchise Dhoom had 2 basic concepts – heist and racing. The very same concept has been used in Sushant Singh Rajput-Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Drive. Drive’s trailer begins with racing, where Sushant tries to prove his worth by comparing racing cars with toys.

Jacqueline Fernandez is an eye candy throughout the trailer, with a very little mention about her character. She comes with an idea to steal from the most secure place – Rashtrapati Bhavan, but that is her only role in the trailer. Both of these 2 members i.e. Sapna & Pabbi.

This trailer also has Boman Irani & Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles, as cops assigned to the case. This trailer is actually impactful towards the climax, but that becomes too late since one is almost sure to lose interest as soon as the trailer comes to an end.

Drive, that was originally developed to be a cinematic release, will now be released on the online streaming platform Netflix on November 1st.
