Sharing a pic of her, Arun Govil and Sunil Lahri shooting near the tree, Dipika penned,
“There is a story behind this scene ….so I shared …we were busy with the shoot, learning lines and so on…the day was as normal as could be, after the scene got over our cameraman Ajit naik (cinematography) came to tell us please vacate the place and don’t stand underneath the tree and we were wondering all the three actors as to what was the hurry and why so abrupt…”
“He asked all the technicians also to clear the field ..sagar Saab was also wondering what happened …and then he pointed out a huge fat snake on the tree and what followed after that was we all RAN for our life. sooo many memories,”

After featuring in ‘Ramayan’ during the re-telecast, Dipika Chikhalia announced her next flick. Titled ‘Sarojini’, Dipika would work on the biopic of freedom-fighter and poet Sarojini Naidu, who is also known as the Nightingale of India.
As there is an old saying that bad times make people remember god. Same is the case with Ramayana, Mahabharata, Sri Krishna and many other TV serials that were telecast on Doordarshan back in 20th century and with the passing by time, they were only available on Youtube and video stores if one wanted to watch them, as they were never re-telecast due to lack of public interest.
But as soon as the coronavirus lockdown came into effect, these shows were re-telecast on Doordarshan and fetched the same high TRP’s that they did in the past.
