Was a gym opened exclusively for Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput in total disregard of government orders of a shutdown? As per the latest reports, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were caught working out at a gym for two hours on Sunday evening.
This March 13th, 2020, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray made an official announcement,
“All theatres, gyms, swimming pools in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Nagpur, Pimpri-Chinchwad to be closed starting midnight today till 30th March.”
Immediately after that, the state government made it a point that the orders were to be followed by the authorities along with the citizens to deal with the ongoing coronavirus outbreak globally in an effective manner. As of now about 37 cases of the disease have been confirmed in Maharashtra.
Post-CM’s announcement ordering all gyms to be closed, it seems like not everyone is eager to follow it. Going by the reports in Mumbai Mirror, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput have come under the radar after they were caught working out on Sunday at a gym in the suburbs. The tabloid also revealed that the gym was exclusively opened for the couple and they had an exclusive workout session for about two hours.
It is rightly said that fame and money have powers that change the definition of right and wrong on need.
The Duo exited from a different gate after they came to know that they were being kept an eye on in secret. When the owner of the gym was asked to comment on the incident, he shared with the tabloid,
“He has been shooting in Chandigarh and had asked me to get some equipment after he sustained an injury (tendonitis). I was showing him the right way to use the equipment. In any case, we work out and train together at each other’s houses.”
Just a few days back, Shahid returned home and had also announced that the shoot of Jersey has been suspended due to coronavirus scare. He made a tweet in this regard that read,
“At a time like this it is our social responsibility to do everything in our capacity to curb the spread of this virus. Team #Jersey is suspending shoot to enable all unit members to be with their families and in the safety of their homes. Be responsible. Stay safe.”
