Here’s How Dharmendra Reacted On Son Sunny Saving A Woman From Being Conned

While we all have been seen a lot of heroism in the reel life when it comes to Sunny Deol. But he is one in real life too. He just saved an Indian woman from being sold as a slave in Kuwait.

Here’s what happened. Human Trafficking in the name of better life prospects is a common thing. A 45-year-old female whose name is Veena Bedi was being sold to a Pakistani man by a travel agent with a lure that he would help her get a housekeeping job for a salary of Rs 30,000 per month.

When Sunny, who just went to Lok Sabha from Gurdaspur in Punjab on Bharatiya Janata Party’s ticket, came to know about this matter, he personally intervened and promptly contacted the Ministry of External Affairs.

After a swift operation, Veena was brought back home last friday safely. All with Sunny and two other NGOs, one of which is located in Kuwait working together.

Learning about all this, Father cum Veteran Actor: Dharmendra commended son Sunny Deol for this work with a tweet. Dharmendra posted a snapshot of the newspaper article that had details of all the incident and captioned the tweet with words,

“Naukri samajh ke farz nibhana, Sunny bete (Treat your job as your responsibility, son). God bless you.”

Coming to professional life, Sunny Deol was last seen in ‘Blank’, which also marked the debut of late actress Simple Kapadia’s son Karan Kapadia. And in his upcoming home production: ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ Sunny will be launching his son Karan.

On the other hand, talking about father: Dharmendra. He made a silver screen appearance with both Sunny and Bobby Deol his elder and younger son respectively in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’, a sequel to ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’.

Post that silver screen appearance Dharmendra took a leave from work, but is active on social media as he keeps posting pictures and videos from his farm in Lonavala, near Mumbai.
