Dabangg 3 is on cards next for Salman Khan. The movie is currently in its production stage and the shooting of the movie is in full swing. Apparently, the makers are planning to opt for Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) to make Salman look young in the movie. His upcoming movie, Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Bharat also features a Salman that is young and old. And for the young look, as seen in the songs and trailer, filmmakers have taken the help of technology for Bhai to look the part.
Now, a new source has informed that on the lines of Bharat, Dabangg 3 makers too are opting for CGI for a younger Chulbul Pandey. The movie is supposed to show Pandey ji’s life before he joined the police force too and so, it only fits that Computer tech is used. The source informed,
“Since Dabangg 3 will see a prequel and sequel format where the past of Chulbhul will be dealt with in flashback format for the first time, the makers will be using CGI to make Chulbhul look young in the flashbacks.”
Dabangg 3 is one of the most anticipated Bhai movies of the year. CGI wouldn’t be the only new thing about the movie. If reports are to be believed Salman Khan would also be centering a dance number titled Munna Badnam Hua, a spinoff of the hit chartbuster song from Dabangg Muni Badanm Hui featuring Malaika Arora.
A source reported,
“Malaika Arora’s foot-tapping item number ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ will be re-created and will feature Salman. This time, it will be presented to the audiences with a different twist,”
The source also revealed that the song will be named Munna Badnaam Hua. The source added,
“The lyrics will undergo a drastic change too. And Salman has decided to wear the overcoat of this Badnami himself and the song will be called ‘Munna Badnaam Hua’.”
In fact, director Prabhu Deva and the team are planning to take this movie to a different turn by showing Chulbul Pandey’s early college life and his love interest back then. For this, a young female actor too is yet to be cast. Apart from that, Sonakshi Sinha will reprise her role as Rajjo, and Arbaaz Khan will reprise her role as Makkhi in the movie. It is slated for a Christmas release, most probably on December 20, 2019, and may face a big clash with Brahmastra.
The first movie in the franchise released back in 2010 and was a major box office hit. Directed by Arbaaz Khan, it also marked Sonakshi Sinha’s Bollywood debut. The IMDb synopsis of the movie reads,
Set in Uttar Pradesh, Chulbul Pandey is a young boy who lives with his mother Naini, stepfather Prajapati, and younger half-brother Makkhi. Chulbul is constantly angry that his step-father is always partial towards his own biological son. 21 years later, Chulbul is a rowdy, mischievous, and sometimes crooked cop, who refers to himself as “Robin Hood.” He does everything in his own indomitable way; whether it’s dealing with corrupt politician and thug Chedi Singh, fighting a family feud, or romancing stunning Rajjo.
