Centre Grants Y Plus Category of Security to Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut has been granted Y Plus security from Union Home ministry ahead of her Mumbai Visit on 9th September, a Home minister Official said. The queen actor thanked Amit Shah and the Centre for providing her top-notch security amid the tension that escalated between Shiv Sena leader and Kangana Ranaut a few days back.

Kangana took to twitter to express her gratitude towards the central government, In a tweet, she said,
“This shows that no one can crush a patriot in the country. I am thankful to Home Minister Amit Shah. Had he wanted, he would have told me to visit Mumbai later but he respected India’s daughter and acknowledged my self-respect. Jai Hind.”

Y plus security involves deployment of about 10 armed commandos with the protectee, the official said.

On Sunday, the official from Himachal Government said that they must protect Kangana at all costs.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said,
“It is our duty to provide her security as she is a daughter of Himachal Pradesh and a celebrity.”
He further added, “Her sister telephoned me yesterday and talked to me. Her father too had written to the state police seeking security. So I have asked DGP to give her security in the state,”

The actor has been very vocal about the dug industry that prevails in Bollywood. She offered to present evidence against the drug Mafia in the industry. She recently said, that she is more afraid of Mumbai Police than Industry goons and that she would prefer security from the Himachal government or Centre.

Reacting to her tweets, Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut said, “We kindly request her not to come to Mumbai. This is nothing but an insult to the Mumbai Police.”

To which Kangana replied by saying,
“Why is Mumbai feeling like Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir?”

Sanjay Raut also said that the actress should not return to Bombay to which Kangana said that no one can stop her from entering Maharashtra.
