Boney Kapoor’s house help has tested positive for COVID-19. But the producer and his 2 daughters: Janhvi and Khushi both are safe.
Bollywood Producer Boney Kapoor released an official statement that his house help has been tested positive for novel coronavirus.
Boney whilst talking to the media revealed that his house-help named Charan Sahu has been tested positive for coronavirus. The producer lives with his 2 daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor from his 2nd marriage to Late Bollywood Veteran: Sridevi, in their home situated in Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri in Mumbai.
Immediately after Charan tested positive for COVID-19, Boney informed both his society and BMC authorities. The house help who was unwell since Saturday has been kept in isolation by Boney.
Giving an insight into the incident, a source too Hindustan Times,
“He was unwell on May 16, Saturday evening and senior Kapoor immediately sent him for tests and later kept him in isolation. After receiving the test report, he informed the society admin and later BMC as well. After which, BMC and state govt authorities started the process of getting Charan into a quarantine centre.”
Whilst Boney’s official statement read,
“Myself, my children and the other staff at home are all fine and none of us is showing any symptoms. In fact, we haven’t left our home since the Lockdown started. We are thankful to the Govt of Maharashtra and BMC for their swift response. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by BMC and their medical team. We are sure that Charan would soon recover and be back at home with us.”
Boney also revealed to Times of India,
“Yes, the house help was tested positive and we are taking all the precautionary measures though myself, my children and the other staff at home, none of us are showing any symptoms as of now. BMC and the government authorities have been prompt and very helpful. We will do as told by them.”
