Boney Kapoor comes out with his much-awaited response on reports doing rounds about son Arjun Kapoor’s Church wedding to Malaika Arora
It has been a quite while now that the confirmed Bollywood couple, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora, as determined by their regular public appearances together are rumored to get hitched in a Church Wedding anytime in April. What has solidified the reports is the fact that the mentioned individuals have made no efforts to put these rumors to rest by answering them.
But unlike the to be groom Arjun Kapoor, his father Boney Kapoor came out and made clear comments, so as to put to rest all of these rumors. He replied that there is no concrete truth behind these rumors, these are factless balloons flying here and there. Ironically, these rumors carry with them a confirmed wedding date in Church and that is April 19 and location too i.e. Film City, Bollywood.
Arjun and Malaika have been rumoured to be dating each other for over a year now. And they have sort of made their relationship official in public eyes by enjoying lunch and dinner dates together unhidden in public places. The two even secretly went to Italy in October last year to ring in Malaika’s birthday.
Malaika who was earlier married to Arbaaz Khan, elder brother of Salman Khan, for 18 years and has a son named Arhaan with him. Earlier reports said that Boney was not ready to accept his son’s relationship with Malaika because of the strong bond that he shares with Salman Khan and his family. There were also reports that Salman Khan had ban Boney Kapoor from his family premises because Arjun in the past had also dated Arpita Khan Sharma, Salman’s now happily married sister. This behavior did not go well with Salman Khan and so, he took to banning the Kapoors.
Ironically Arjun’s uncles Sanjay and Anil Kapoor and sisters Janhvi, Khushi, Sonam, and Rhea have been clicked with Malaika; while father Boney and sister Anshula are said to be taking their own sweet time to warm up to her. Malaika also dismissed these rumors, holding the media accountable for their birth.
