Take for example, Piku and Vicky Donor. October is another one of his masterpieces which demands credit for his direction and Juhi Chaturvedi’s writing before crediting the actors. It is an unconventional romantic drama between a Hotel Management intern and his fellow intern who is a comatose patient. Varun Dhawan is usually known for his over the top acting and his Govinda and Salman mixture kind of portrayal of roles, but in this movie he has got all the critics talking, and talking everything good about him.  4. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is a romantic comedy film directed by the Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame director, Luv Ranjan starring Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh and Nushrat Bharucha was a blockbuster. Bringing forth the ever going battle between a friend and a girlfriend, this movie celebrates Bromance. The lead actors’ brilliant camaraderie off screen translated in their performance.  6. Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain

Though audiences these days have been warming up to cinema which was conventionally called ‘Art House Cinema’, there are still times when some movies do not fare well at the box office and go unnoticed but that doesn’t mean the movie was not up to the mark. One of these movies is Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain starring Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi among others. The movie talks about three couples with a very distinct viewpoint about love and its expression. Irrfan Khan’s Blackmail is a black comedy film about a man who is bored of his usual 9 to 5 job but things in the movie turn interesting when he finds out that his wife is cheating on him and is having an extramarital affair.

 8. Hichki

Rani Mukherjee’s Hichki is about a middle-aged woman who wants to become a teacher in spite of her Tourette syndrome. In the movie, she refuses to give in to the societal permissions and goes on to prove that there are no bad students, only bad teachers by teaching a bunch of underprivileged students. It is a well-intentioned film which is helmed by Rani Mukherjee on her sturdy shoulders.

 9. Race 3

The latest to be added to the list of 2018 Bollywood movies on Amazon Prime is Race 3. The Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Salim, Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer action-packed thriller and drama was a disaster and its trailer itself was enough to invite the trolls. The movie did face a share of criticism by some of the Bollywood fans and critics but being ardent fans of Salman Khan, many loved the movie as well and if you haven’t been able to watch the movie and want to watch it, you can, easily on Amazon Prime in full high definition quality.

 10. Hate Story 4

The latest from the Hate Story franchise is Karan Wahi and Urvashi Rautela starrer Hate Story 4. The movie just like the past 3 movies of the franchise is a revenge thriller directed by Vishal Pandya. The movie could not impress the critics but the album of the movie was received well by the audiences. Watch it for the lead actors’ skin show and a whole lot of chaotic mess.

 11. Pari: Not a Fairytale

Anushka Sharma’s Pari: Not a Fairytale is an Indian supernatural horror film which released earlier this year. The movie is a bit different from all the horror movies (except Ram Gopal Varma’s Bhoot) ever attempted in Bollywood as it is actually scary. The movie stays true to the genre but may have lost a bit on its plot in the middle of the movie somewhere. But if you’re a horror fan, you must watch it once.

 12. Missing

Manoj Bajpayee and Tabu starrer Missing is a psychological thriller which was released in April this year. The story is about finding a missing 3-year-old little daughter of a couple who later is revealed that they’re not a couple but a divorced woman and an unhappily married man who just met on a ferry. The performances of the lead actors including Annu Kapoor add to the impact of the thriller and can be enjoyed on Amazon Prime anytime.

 13. Vodka Diaries

Kay Kay Menon in the movie is playing the role of an ACP Ashwini Dixit who is sent to Manali to solve a mystery of three young dead men in a club called Vodka Diaries. Directed by Kushal Srivastava, this movie also stars Mandira Bedi and Raima Sen in the leading roles. It is said that the movie is loosely based on an American psychological thriller, Shutter Island released back in 2010. Another one of this year’s Bollywood thrillers, this movie is better seen on Amazon Prime as it did not garner much appreciation from the critics.
