Bollywood Goes Crazy: Film Titled Corona Pyaar Hai Registered

Everyone is facing the impossible to defeat COVID-19 or Coronavirus. This has been the worst outbreak in over 100 years. While every country is dealing and fighting it, Bollywood film-makers have done something crazy. According to a report, two separate film-makers have registered the title, Corona Pyaar Hai and Deadly Corona with the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA). The Association also confirmed that there are over 70 films with the word corona in it already registered.
I mean Corona Pyaar Hai seems a very big outreach, don’t you? It seems like a twisted version of Hrithik and Ameesha’s hit film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. If rumors are to be believed there is already some script in place for the movie. Meanwhile, people are panicking, Bollywood film-makers are thinking of using it? Isn’t it a bit sick?
Rakesh Roshan has already spoken against it and said in an interview,
It’s a mockery of the situation that the world is combating. It’s childish and immature to do such a thing at this time. We should ignore these people as they are not thinking straight.
He further said,
There is no similarity between the two films. Even with regard to the names, their title Corona Pyaar Hai has a different meaning to it. So, I cannot do anything about it.
This isn’t the first time Bollywood has tried to make a film on catastrophic events. In 2019, as soon as Article 370 was revocated, Bollywood producers registered titles like Article 370, Article 35A, Kashmir Hamara Hai and Kashmir Mein Tiranga.

We have already seen films like Uri, based on the Army’s surgical strikes and then the Attacks of 26/11 based on 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

The deadly coronavirus has already bought everything to a standstill. What do you think about filmmakers registering such titles on this pandemic? Do let us know in the comments.
