Hera Pheri (2000)

This is amongst the funniest movies by Bollywood whose viewers could watch this movie over and over again. The movie is very well critically appreciated and is loved by the viewers. The movie stars include Akshay Kumar, as Raju, Suniel Shetty, as Ghanshyam and Paresh Rawal as Baburao Ganpateao Apte. Two tenants and a landlord hold on to a ransom call via cross connection and they make plans to gain all the money.


Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006)

This is a sequel to Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and this movie also did very well with the charts and the audience. In addition to Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, Vidya Balan also stars in the movie, as Jhanvi who is a radio jockey. Munna, a don hopelessly falls in love with a radio jockey, saying to her that he’s a true Gandhian. But at the end he ends up hurting her, he undergoes serious changes and begins to help people.

Khosla ka Ghosla (2006)

Starring Anupam Kher as Kamal Kishore Khosla, Boman Irani as Kishan Khurana and Ranvir Shorey as Balwant “Bunty” Khosla. This comedy movie was directed by Dibakar Mukherjee, in his directorial debut. The movie is very funny even when it has a serious plot. The plot is about Kamal Khosla, whose property is captured by a thug named Khurana. To retrieve the land, his son, Cherry and his friends plan up a plan and enter the arms to fool the crook and make the game theirs.

3 Idiots (2010)

Though this movie isn’t a comedy one, it does make us laugh a lot. The sense of humor in the movie is amazing. It’s about an engineering student, who has two friends and their college life. How important it is to actually follow the passion instead of going along where there is no internet. It was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It stars Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Boman Irani in lead roles.

Vicky Donor (2012)

Aayushmann Khurrana plays Vicky Arora, Yami Gautam plays Ashima Roy and Annu Kapoor as Dr. Baldev Chhadda and the handsome John Abraham appear in the movie in the main roles. The movie was directed by Shoojit Sircar. The movie is a comedy completely, and so is its title. The plot is about a doctor who owns a fertility clinic and a sperm bank. He looks for someone to donate healthy sperms, and be the donor. His search ends with Vicky Arora, a handsome young Punjabi guy.

Delhi Belly (2011)

Directed by Abhinay Deo, this movie is a total combination of naughtiness, issue description, and comedy. The lead roles are with Aamir Khan as Disco Fighter, Imran Khan as Tashi Malhotra and Shehnaz Treasury as Sonia. The other characters are Anup and Nitin. Tashi, Anup, and Nitin are three roommates who are chased by a gangster because they misplace his expensive diamonds.

Hungama (2003)

Hungama is a full package comedy and makes us laugh hysterically every time. The movie was released in 2003 and is still very nice to watch. The movie was directed by Priyadarshan. The movie features Paresh Rawal as Radheysham Tiwari, Akshaye Khanna as Jeetu and Rajpal Yadav as Raja in the lead roles. The plot is a rich millionaire who lives in a village and then moves to a city. Then, there are a lot of comic situations that appear because of misunderstood identities.

Andaz Apna Apna (1994)

Rajkumar Santoshi directed this movie which still is so fresh in our hearts because it made us laugh. The actors in the movie with a lead role are Aamir Khan as Amar Manohar and Salman Khan as Prem Bhopali. The movie is plotted with Amar and Prem both being middle-class boys and they both have big dreams and aspirations. The movie shows them falling in love with Raveena, a multi millionaire’s daughter. But they both come in the eye of a gangster Teja along the way.

Chachi 420 (1997)

This movie had Govinda and Karishma Kapoor as the lead actors. Govinda acting as Raju and Karishma Kapoor acting as Malti. The movie was directed by David Dhawan. The movie was really funny, as most of Govinda’s movies are. The plot is, a marriage matchmaker is spurned by a millionaire and he, Shaadiram plans vengeance. He gets Raju, who’s a coolie, to disguise as a rich millionaire, and marry his daughter, but Raju faces comical issues living the lie.

The movie is about two friends who are photographers and big flirts, named Makarand and Shyam. Shyam goes abroad for some work and returns to find that Makarand having affairs with three women simultaneously. Shyam decides to upset his life and this is followed by comic incidents. The movie was directed by Priyadarshan and stars Akshay Kumar, as Makrand and John Abraham as Shyam.

The movie has Akshay Kumar as Rajiv Saini, Katrina Kaif as Sanjana S. Shetty, Anil Kapoor as Sagar Majnu Pandey and Nana Patekar as Uday Shetty. The plot is very funny because Uday and Sagar want Rajiv, a man from a respected family to marry their sister too.

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani (2009)

The movie is full of comedy, romance, and drama. Among the first few movies of Ranbir Kapoor, starring as Prem Sharma and Katrina Kaif as Jenny Pinto. Prem lives Jenny but Jenny loves Rahul. When he discovers that she loves Rahul, he makes his efforts to get her to Rahul. This leads to so many comical situations.
