Bollywood Celebs Gave Up Acting:
For most of us, we think that becoming a star is an ultimate success one can get in this lifetime. It involves a huge amount of money, glamour, and respect from all across the globe. Not only that, but you are also treated like a VIP in your country and some people worship and idolize these stars. Given how alluring it may sound, it’s not always a cake ride. You will be amazed to know that some well-known stars in the industry have given up stardom to find their true calling. These people, not only deserve our respect but also our attention because what they have done is inspirational for all of us.
1. Twinkle Khanna
A well-known personality in the industry, daughter of legendary Rajesh Khanna, made ger debut in the year 1995 with the film Barsaat. She appeared in several movies after that but after some years of acting, she decided to call it quits and started focusing on her hobby- writing. Presently, she is an author and a film producer.
2. Aditya Narayan
A very famous singer and son of the celebrated Udit Narayan, Aditya tried his luck in acting but he failed miserably. He later disappeared from movies and decided to become a host on reality shows, and he is pretty much doing an amazing job.
3. Harman Baweja
Most of us remember him as Priyanka Chopra ex and we also expected his acting career to boom. He appeared in two films with PC including Love Story 2020 and What’s Your Rashee? Both of which failed at the box office. He eventually left the industry in 2014.
4. Dino Morea
The model-turned-actor made his debut in 1999 with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. His performance was applauded and he did quite a several movies after that. But as his career graph was not moving upwards, he decided to resort to his alternate business plan. He wons a café named Crepe station in Mumbai. He might have left Bollywood but hasn’t left acting. He still appears in web series.
5. Rahul Roy
Mahesh Bhatt introduced, Rahul Roy made his grand entry in Bollywood with a superhit blockbuster Aashiqui in 1990. Even though everyone expected him to become the next big star of Bollywood, he wasn’t able to live on those expectations. In 2007, he appeared in the first season of Bigg Boss and he even won the show. In 2011, he ventured into production and released is first movie Elaan.
6. Shilpa Shetty
Before entering Bollywood, she was a famous model. She even gave a lot of super hits at the box office with movies like Baazigar, Dhadkan, Maine Khiladi Tu Anari, etc. She achieved international fame by appearing on the reality show Big Brother 5. Even though she has left Bollywood, we still see her a lot on television. She is currently judging a reality show and also co-owns an IPL Team.
7. Kumar Gaurav
The yesteryear actor, Kumar Gaurav gave his debut in 1981 with the film Love Story. Later he became a famous star as he gave blockbusters including Teri Kasam, Kaante, and Naam. He last appeared in My Daddy Strongest in 2006. After which he left Bollywood for good. He now owns a travel company in the Maldives.
