A Shah Rukh Khan’s Production House: Red Chillies Entertainment production, Bard of Blood is Netflix’s next high on action series. It is based on the book by Bilal Siddiqi that goes by the same name and was released back in 2015.
After fascinating the fans with quirky teaser videos that feature: Shah Rukh Khan, with Emraan Hashmi joining him in the last one, streaming giant Netflix has finally dropped the trailer of its next India original post-Sacred Games 2 i.e. Bard of Blood.
This 7 episode series has Emraan Hashmi playing Kabir Anand in the lead role. The trailer opens in the rough terrains of Balochistan in Pakistan. Viewers are quickly given the gist that 4 Indian spies belonging to the Indian Intelligence Wing (IIW) are just about to be executed by a terrorist. Apparently, the Indian intelligence officers were there to relay an important piece of information to India before they get captured and are now about to be decapitated.
As the stakes are high, Indian government official ropes in Kabir Anand (Emraan Hashmi) aka Adonis to go on a rescue mission accompanied by Isha Khanna (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Veer Singh (Vineet Kumar Singh).

Below is the official synopsis of the series:
“An excommunicated RAW agent, Kabir Anand, a courageous analyst, Isha Khanna, and a sleeper agent, Veer Singh, take on a covert mission in Balochistan when four Indian spies are captured. The mission soon turns south and Kabir Anand, played by Emraan Hashmi, must face his demons from the past to end a war before it begins.”

Series will begin streaming on Netflix on September 27, 2019.
