Salman Khan has been hosting the reality show Bigg Boss for more than a decade now. Before that, the controversial show has had three hosts Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty Kundra & Amitabh Bachchan in the same order. Even Sanjay Dutt had joined Salman as a host for a season. The show kickstarted with Arshad Warsi becoming the first-ever host of Bigg Boss. During a recent interaction, Arshad was asked if he had followed the show after he began the show as the host.
Arshad to this, said:
“No, yaar, I don’t watch (any of the episodes). I’m so sorry, but I don’t. I’m not… I don’t know… I just don’t watch it… I don’t watch many things, yaar. And I don’t find it very interesting, to be honest. I guess it’s one of those that once you start watching it then you’re stuck and glued onto it. But, I’ve never managed to start watching it, so, maybe, the day I start watching it, I’ll be glued onto it.”
Arshad also said that he can’t watch other people’s misery and said:
“Yeah, exactly, I don’t have that, yaar. I can’t enjoy other people’s misery and all that stuff.”
Coming to the work front, Arshad Warsi is all geared up to play the main antagonist in the upcoming film Durgamati which casts Bhumi Pednekar as the main lead. The film also has Mahie Gill, Jisshu Sengupta & Karan Kapadia in the pivotal roles. Durgamati is set to be streamed from December 11, 2020 on Amazon Prime.
In a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, when asked about the 3rd instalment in the Munna Bhai series which is most awaited by the fans Arshad came up with a hilarious reply and said:
“Nothing is happening. I think you should all go and go out to Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raju’s house and threaten them to start fast. I don’t know. I don’t think it is going to work. It’s been a bit too long. Raju is busy with other things. I don’t think so. Sad for all of us.”
