Armaan Malik Picks Bollywood Celebs For Aladdin’s Hindi Version

Disney is all set for a global release of Aladdin in the coming days and its Hindi version will feature the voice of popular Bollywood vocalist Armaan Malik for Aladdin’s character and the singer has sung a song too. This famous track goes by the English Name: A Whole New World, and its Desi name is ‘Naya Jahaan’.

When it comes to Aladdin, it needs no introduction globally. This fantasy story has been with us since childhood and we can never get bored of it! When children’s favorite Walt Disney announced Aladdin, as a musical fantasy having Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad, and Billy Magnussen on board, everyone’s happiness knew no bounds. The Guy Ritchie directorial, the movie is set to release on coming 24th May.

In addition, makers also announced that they will collaborate with singer Armaan Malik for this project’s Desi Version. When it comes to Armaan’s career achievements, he has to his credit hit tracks like Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Kaun Tujhe, Kyun Rabba, and Tere Mere among others. His latest public single: Chale Aana for De De Pyaar De De is already a huge hit. And this collaboration added yet another feat to his career.

Days before the release of Aladdin, he sat for an exclusive F2F with BollywoodLife. Here he shared the details behind him bagging the international project, his memories attached to the magical story and much more. When he was asked to name parallel Bollywood celebs for Aladdin’s Desi Version, he revealed some big Bollywood names: Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aaryan for the roles of Aladdin, Jafar, Sultan, Princess Jasmine and Genie.

These were his words in exact, when he was asked for some words on him bagging this big project,

“Aladdin has been one of my favourite films since childhood. Being a musician my fascination with the film began with its songs, A Whole New World my favourite among all of them. I am really honoured to be given the opportunity to be the voice of Aladdin.”
