Amitabh Bachchan’s Quriky Instagram Post In Which He Hangs ‘Nimbu Mirchi’ On 2021 Goes Viral

B-Town’s superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday took to his Instagram handle to post a quirky image in an attempt to protect the year ‘2021’ from the evil’s eye.

The Buddha Hoga Tera Baap Actor who is one of the most active celebrities on social media posted on his Instagram & Twitter accounts to share an image of numeric figures 2021 with an icon of lemon & green chilies hanging from it.

Hanging ‘Nimbu Mirchi’ or lemon & green chilies is a traditional Indian method  of protecting a possession or a thing from the eyes of the evil. The Baghban actor also penned down a quirky note and expressed his concerns over how the new year 2021 will turn out since 2020 has been a really bad year for the entire world due to the pandemic that’s still on.

In the caption he wrote:

“Do hazaar bees ke ant par, ab kuchh hi baaki hai. Nazar na lage, ikkis (20) vaali tangdi par bhaiya, nimbu mirchi taang de, (There are only a few days left in 2020’s end. I wish it stays protected from the evil eye, let’s hang lemon and chilies over it).”

In other news, on the evening of Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter handle to pray for the speedy recovery of Remo D’Souza. For the unversed, let us tell you that the choreographer had suffered a heart attack on Friday afternoon & is currently under observation in Kokilaben hospital, Mumbai.

Amitabh also shared a video posted by his fan. In the video, D’Souza was heard praising Amitabh while speaking to a group of dancers on the sets of the dance reality show ‘Dance Plus’, which Remo used to judge. He said that there is no one above Amitabh Bachchan.

Bachchan shared the video on his verified Twitter account and wrote

“Get well Remo .. prayers !! and thank you for your wishes.”
