Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan has rubbished all the reports that suggested that Big B has been tested negative for coronavirus. His words read, ‘incorrect, irresponsible, fake’.
After rumors started doing rounds on social media that Amitabh Bachchan is COVID-19 negative, the veteran actor wasted no time and denied the news through his Twitter account and called it ‘fake’. He could not communicate this news F2F to the media because ever since he was diagnosed with coronavirus along with son Abhishek Bachchan, both father-son duo were admitted to Nanavati hospital and were not allowed any outside interaction as per govt. mandated coronavirus safety precautions. Taking to his Twitter account Big B wrote,
“.. this news is incorrect , irresponsible , fake and an incorrigible LIE !!”

It was just last week that Big B Amitabh had taken to the microblogging website to confirm the news of his being COVID-19 positive. Big B also urged people who have been in close proximity with him to get themselves tested.
“I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. the family and staff underwent tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”
Talking about his son Abhishek Bachchan. Abhishek too went to his twitter account and shared a word or two about his diagnosis too with his fanbase. His tweet read,
“Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them.”
Not only Amitabh & Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai & Aaradhya Bachchan too had tested positive for COVID-19. In the beginning this mother-daughter duo were recuperating in the hospital but after things didn’t show considerable improvement they were hospitalized too after showing symptoms of fever.
