Amitabh Bachchan used his social media account to write a blog and tweet both to make an official announcement in prior as to why he wouldn’t be able to meet and greet his fans on Sunday outside his bungalow Jalsa in Mumbai. It has been a years-old exercise now that, every Sunday, thousands of fans of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan gather outside his bungalow in Mumbai to catch his one glimpse.
The megastar of Bollywood also makes it a point that he makes his well-wishers happy by coming out of his house and waving at them for a few minutes. Big B has always termed it an overwhelming experience and ensures to not to let down his fans who come from all across the world to have one look of him from near.
But this Sunday that just passed by, things were a bit different as the megastar couldn’t repeat the history due to the issues that involved his health. Bollywood’s Shehenshah used his Twitter account to make an official public announcement. He tweeted,
“T 3154 – All Ef and well wishers .. not doing the Sunday meet at Jalsa Gate this evening ..”
Today, Big B also wrote, “T 3155 – मैं न जानता था की , एक दिन इतवार को अपने चाहने वालों से, जलसा के द्वार पे, न मिल पाने पर, इतनी बड़ी ख़बर बन जाएगी ! आप सब को स्नेह , मेरा आदर और सम्मान”
Big B further blogged,
“Ef and others .. not doing the Sunday Darshan to day .. in bed .. pain .. inform all .. nothing to worry, but unable to come out ..”
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan will be appearing in Ayan Mukerji‘s upcoming directorial titled Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The movie is set to hit screens sometime around Christmas next year in 2020.
