Akshay Kumar Shares His ‘Sooryavanshi’ Experience With Katrina Kaif 

Akshay Kumar used his social media handle to describe the shooting with ‘Sooryavanshi’ co-star Katrina Kaif by sharing a BTS still with Katrina Kaif from the sets of ‘Sooryavanshi’.

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif will be seeing each other on the big screen after a decade and this has uplifted the excitement of the couple’s fans to another level. Both these actors will be seen romancing each other in Rohit Shetty’s directorial titled Sooryavanshi which is a part of his cop universe. In the movie, Akshay plays the role of a cop named Veer Sooryavanshi whilst Katrina will reportedly be seen as a doctor. This will be the first time for both these actors to work in Rohit‘s film.

Now when the release dates of the trailer and the promotions of the film are closeby, Akshay took to his Instagram page and shared a BTS still with Katrina. In this pic, Akshay could be seen sporting a handsome look wearing a blue shirt and jeans, while Katrina looks pretty in a grey Anarkali suit with silver dangling earrings. Both of them are smiling whilst looking at the sun as this shot is taken against the backdrop of a beach.

Akshay captioned the pic with words,

“If I had to describe shooting with @katrinakaif in one picture, this would be it 🙂 #GoodVibesOnly #Sooryavanshi #BTS”

Sometime back while talking to PTI, when Rohit was asked about casting Katrina for the role, he had said,

“Katrina has a very good role in the film. We both have been trying to work with each other on a film but this seemed like an apt film for both of us.”

When he was asked about adding female cops to his universe, Rohit went on to say,

“We are trying to create a world of our own and we have been open about it. It will only grow (with time). There will be female cops as well in my universe.”

Sooryavanshi is likely to be released on March 25, 2020.
