Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to announce a new home-made game, FAU-G, an alternative to the famous multiplayer game PUBG. Earlier this week, the government of India banned PUBG along with 117 apps. Consequently, the game is no longer available on the Play Store and Apple Store.
Akshay Kumar mentioned in his Instagram post that fearless and United Guards is following the Prime Minister’s Narendra Modi’s vision for an ‘aatmanirbhar (self-reliant)’ India.

Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers. 20% of the net revenue generated will be donated to #BharatKeVeer Trust. #FAUG @vishygo #nCoreGames,” his post read.
Vishal Gondal, the co-founder of Bengaluru based nCore Games, who is responsible for developing The Fearless and United Guards, said that Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar came up with the game’s title and also helped the teams in developing the concept for the same.
He further added, “This game was in work for several months. In fact, the first level of the game is based on Galwan Valley”
In an interview with Indian Express, Gondal revealed, “FAU-G was always in the pipelines and we were preparing for an October release. The ban on PUBG Mobile was coincidental”
He further added that his team has been actively working on the plan since May-June 2020.
nCore games have been working on three games. One is the shooting game called FAU-G, the other one is a music game and the last one is related to cricket. Gondal He did not disclose the exact but gave a rough idea that the game is all set to release in late October. The music game will be released later this month while the IPL game is set to release around the time when IPL begins.
