After donating a huge sum of INR 25 crore to the PM Cares Fund to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar donated another INR 2 crore to the Mumbai Police Foundation. The actor made his contribution commemorating the recent demise of Mumbai Police head constables Chandrakant Pendurkar and Sandip Surve as the police are working relentlessly to maintain law and order amid the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor who had come under fire for her reckless behavior after returning from the UK has made a responsible decision to donate her plasma after she successfully recovered from the deadly coronavirus.

Kanika was put under quarantine for several days after she tested positive for the virus. As per a report, a team of doctors from King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, will test Kanika’s blood to check if her plasma is fit to be used for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
