Akshay Kumar Promotes Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior On His Twitter

These are the days when Bollywood celebs forget their past and come ahead to promote each other’s flicks on social media. After all, everybody needs help at work. In one of the latest happenings, Bollywood citizens are lining up to support Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ which is also his 100th film. Just yesterday, Bollywood’s Badshah: Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter to unveil a special poster as Ajay completed 30 years in the film industry.

And now Akshay Kumar has done his job by dropping a new poster of Ajay Devgn as Tanhaji Malusare. Bollywood’s Khiladi took to his Twitter to share the pics and captioned it with the words,

“We started our journey in this industry together…30 years ago. And I’ve seen your graph only grow from strength to strength.And as you are all set to mark your century with #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior,I wish you nothing but lots of love and luck.Shine on my friend @ajaydevgn.”

Talking about why Ajay Devgn is the best choice to play the Maratha warrior, director Om Raut shared with Mumbai Mirror,

“He (Tanaji Malusare) was a husband, a father, a brother and a friend, and one of the greatest warriors of our country. Mr Devgn has the eyes, persona and physique which exudes power.”

On the other hand, the film will feature Kajol as Tanhaji’s wife Savitri. Talking about Kajol, director Om Raut shared,

“Nobody has seen Kajol ma’am as a Maharashtrian before, even though she is half Maharashtrian.”

Filmmakers will be unveiling the film’s trailer on November 19th in 3D. Saif Ali Khan will be playing the main antagonist in this Ajay Devgn starrer. ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior‘ will hit the box office on January 10, 2020. This is the same date when Deepika Padukone’s Home production will also visit box office for the very 1st time. Let’s see which one of these flicks will outshine other.
