Agastya’s Decision Confirms That Nepotism Serves Bollywood & Will Stay

Amidst the ongoing nepotism debate that is on its high after Bollywood Actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, died by suicide on June 14th. Big B a.k.a. Amitabh Bachchan‘s grandson, Agastya Nanda, is likely to enter Bollywood. Talking about Sushant’s unexpected demise he was forced to take his life because he was an industry outsider and as a result has to deal with the loss of a lot of projects.

Agastya is Amitabh Bachchan’s 19-year-old grandson who is very much interested in making a career in Bollywood. Agastya’s grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan, is already an established superstar and so is his uncle: Abhishek Bachchan who is currently basking in the rave reviews of Breathe: Into the Shadows. Now, if the rumors are to be believed, then Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s son Agastya Nanda is all set to enter the world of Bollywood anytime shortly.

Talking more about Agastya. In the past days, he has been making several appearances on his mother’s as well as Big B’s social media accounts. This 19-year-old, who gets his tall and charming good looks from his grand-dad seems to enjoy quite a fan-following on social media and has allegedly got movie offers that he will pursue whenever he feels he is ready to do so, revealed a Zee News report.

Agastya has been in Mumbai for the entirety of the coronavirus lockdown that came into effect in March end and was also recently spotted attending aunt Neetu Kapoor’s intimate birthday party in which Karan Johar also made an appearance. Karan Johar has earned a bad name for himself amongst the general public by openly encouraging nepotism, film industry mafia, and favoritism. If you want proof then pull out all his flicks till date and give a thorough reading to the list of cast members, a surprisingly major number of his flick’s cast have industry links already. Sushant’s fans hold Karan majorly responsible for the former’s suicide.

Meanwhile, Agastya’s mother Shweta Nanda has often made it clear that she does not want her kids to join the film industry. Shweta disclosed this fact on her visit to the Koffee With Karan show along with her brother Abhishek.
