Aamir Khan Fans Are Coming to India From China to Watch ‘Thugs of Hindostan’

Bollywood fans are not only limited to being just in India but actually are spread over across the globe. Our movies are watched and loved by people internationally as well and one proof of that is that Bollywood fans or rather I should say, Aamir Khan fans are coming to India from China just to watch his upcoming film, Thugs of Hindostan.

Aamir Khan rejoices a huge fan base in China. The Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood has found immense love and appreciation in his little Chinese fans several times. Bollywood movies in China get a later release than India and the Chinese fans are so eager to watch his movie that they do not wish to wait that long and have decided to take a direct flight to an Indian theatre to watch it on its first release.

The good thing about the kind of movies Aamir Khan does is that everybody finds it relatable and resonates with the content he seems to associate himself with. His body of work has been nothing short of exceptional. Delving into versatile roles, different scripts, quirky characters, he has done it all and this time is no different.

The much-anticipated Diwali release of this year, Thugs of Hindostan’s trailer created a buzz on the internet. After it’s trailer released, the anticipation and the expectations have risen to another level (C’mon people flying from China just to see a movie, what more does a movie star want!).

Aamir Khan in Thugs of Hindostan will be seen as Firangi, a character who apparently cannot be trusted in his own words. About his character in the film, he said,

“Thugs of Hindostan is a big action-adventure film. There’s no message in that. I am playing a character who cannot be trusted at all – [so it’s the] very opposite of Dangal … He’s a very slippery character. He has no scruples at all – for money he can sell his mother out. He’s like that.”

In Thugs of Hindostan, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing a character named Khudabaksh. About his character, Aamir said,

“This film also has a lot of action scenes for him. I think it is after a lot of years that you will see Amitji doing a lot of action. So it’s definitely a challenging film for him and he is coping very well with it.”

Along with Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, this epic drama film also features Katrina Kaif, Lloyd Owen and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film will hit the theatres very soon, on November 8, 2018.

Aamir Khan Thugs of Hindostan

Among the population of 1.4 billion and 1.25 million in China and India respectively, Aamir Khan is undoubtedly the World’s Biggest Superstar. Fans from China who will be flying to India just to see Aamir Khan on the big screen will not be disappointed by the movie, we hope.

Movies like ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘PK’ among others have attracted Chinese audience to the theatres in the past. And not just that, Aamir Khan movies have given Bollywood a boost in China as well, so much so that ‘Dangal’ smashed box office records in China by collecting over 1200 crores successfully. Now that is some fan following, isn’t it?
