A day after Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli welcomed their baby girl, they found themselves welcoming a controversy. While the social media was celebrating the birth of their daughter, a blunder was made by a newspaper printing house and that was quite enough to catch everyone’s attention.
For the unversed, the print media newspaper had an article which had the headline ‘2 JeM terrorists arrested in J&K’ but it was carrying a photo of Anushka and Virat inside the column.

On January 11 Virat Kohli had announced the birth of his daughter. His post read
“We are thrilled to share with you that we’ve been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat (sic).”
Virat had taken a paternity leave for the birth of his first child and he will be a part of the Indian team in the upcoming series against England at the home turf.
The couple on Wednesday had made a strong appeal to paparazzi in Mumbai to refrain from clicking their daughter’s pic as they have decided to protect her privacy.

Anushka and Virat said:
“Hi, Thank you for all the love that you have given us for all these years. We are happy to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support.”
The couple added:
“While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same.”
