We love to groove and sway to the Bollywood versions but now, with independent artists coming up and with the popularity of the video sharing platform, YouTube, several other versions of our favourite Bollywood songs have surfaced and you might like them. He chose two of his self-composed songs Nayan Tarse from Dev D and Badra Bahaar from Queen and sang an unplugged version on MTV Unplugged Season 4 and boy, it is amazing! You listen and decide.

The original Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo is sung by Farida Khanum and only she could have matched the level of the perfection in the song. The lyrics of the song are beautiful and Farida Khanum’s voice on top of that is pure magic. Just one listen to it and you will definitely listen to it on loop. Though the original version is also very nice, the younger audiences have responded to the Coke Studio version better.

Akasa Singh was just recently trending on YouTube for her single called Thug Ranjha had come out. But before that, she has sung several covers of Bollywood songs and the best among all is Judaai’s cover, a song from Badlapur.
